It’s only the first month of the year but we’ve already hit the ground running. 2025 has kicked off with a whirlwind of activity, taking us to the headquarters of four incredible partners: Ent Credit Union, Nintendo, WSECU, and UFCU. Each visit was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, explore new ideas, and align on shared goals for the year ahead. As a remote-first company, we cherish every opportunity to connect in person. Seeing our teammates beyond the screen made these visits even more special, fueling our collaboration, energy, and excitement for what’s ahead. Finally, our travels brought us back home to Vancouver just in time for the BC Export Awards, where we celebrated innovation and global impact. Read more about our journey below!
Our first stop was Colorado, where we joined Ent Credit Union for their Quarterly Planning Session. This visit was especially meaningful, as it built on the success of our VR training solution, which we implemented last year to transform their standard classroom which resulted in a staff confidence boost by 75%. This milestone marked a pivotal moment in our collaboration, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum. Meeting face-to-face allows us to strengthen our partnership, explore new opportunities, and innovate together as we plan for the exciting projects ahead with this forward-thinking organization.
Next, we visited Nintendo of America’s headquarters in Redmond, a long-time partner and client of ours. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of contributing to projects that bring remarkable digital experiences to life, aligning perfectly with Nintendo’s commitment to delivering joy and innovation through gaming. It’s an honor to continue working with such a renowned brand, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead to push boundaries together.
Our team was later welcomed in Olympia by the Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) and then in Texas by United Federal Credit Union (UFCU). Both visits were equally inspiring as we sat down with their teams in person and gave us a chance to dive into upcoming initiatives and reaffirm our shared commitment to delivering exceptional value to the credit union space, employees and members all alike. We’re thrilled to continue nurturing these relationships and to see what the future holds as we work together to craft remarkable experiences that drive success.
We wrapped up our whirlwind travels back home in Vancouver at the BC Export Awards ceremony. Being nominated as a finalist for Digital Media was an incredible honour, and we’re grateful to our team and partners who made this possible. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders, including the Honourable Diana Gibson, Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation of British Columbia, and the Honourable Rick Glumac, Minister of State for Trade. It was an invaluable chance to engage with key figures shaping the future of BC’s economy and trade landscape. It was great to see Aequilibrium represented on this stage, fostering new connections and conversations about innovation and how we’re contributing to the AI productivity gap in Canada.
This month we’ve not only deepened our relationships with partners but also celebrated the unique moments when our remote team comes together. We’re excited for what’s to come in 2025 and look forward to many more stops along the way!
